Tour Information

A guide tour for your shopping for souvenirs from Fiji is easy with this half-day tour to Sigatoka with resort pick-up and drop-off included.

Lively Sigatoka is well-known for its duty-free shops and handicrafts. It’s the ideal place to find gifts for friends and mementos of your Fiji vacation.

The town is justly famous for its pottery. Other attractive local craft items are carvings, shell jewellery, and masi cloth.
You will also find upscale stores selling surf wear and casual clothing and supermarkets where you can stock up on drinks and snacks.

Visit the bustling fruit and vegetable market. Have your camera to hand to capture the colourful displays and smiling vendors. Browse the street stalls with their varied selection of goods. Don’t be afraid to haggle! They are the product of erosion in the coastal hinterland and coastal dune forming processes. The extensive dune system covers an area of 650 hectares and comprises a series of parabolic sand dunes of various ages and activities. The dunes range from around 20-60m tall.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes Fiji

The dunes have been forming over thousands of years and archaeological excavations here have uncovered pottery more than 2600 years old, as well as one of the largest burial sites in the Pacific. Evidence of the past is clearly visible throughout the dune system as pottery scatters, stone tools, human remains and other archaeological relics continue to be uncovered by natural processes.
