This is your only chance to witness how the Fijian ladies demonstrate the making of pottery and sculptor.   Pottery Making! This art has seen a renaissance of late, and you will find Nakabuta-made bowls, plates, and other items in handicraft shops all over town. Board your air condition coach for a 45 minute scenic drive along the queen’s highway bound for Nakabuta Pottery Village passing through villages and pine forest reserves not forgetting sugar cane farms which makes us known for producing one of the best brown sugar in the world.  Along the way your guide will point out historical sights and points of interest like the famous Sand dunes where human skeletal remains and pottery shards have made it an archaeological site. You will also get to see the Sigatoka River which is Fiji's longest waterway. This is an ideal orientation tour of Sigatoka Valley known as “The Salad Bowl of Fiji” that gives the opportunity for both first timers and repeat visitors alike to discover many points of scenic, cultural and historic interest about Sigatoka and Fiji as a whole. The tour itself has an easy commentary highlighting interesting points, stories and social history aspects.

Nakabuta Village and witness the ladies of Nakabuta demonstrate the making of pottery.
Your guide will point out historical sites along the way and stops will be made along the way to and from Nakabuta.
Chilled soft drinks and bottled water will be served at the Nakabuta village with assorted cookies.

Shopping time will be given to the guests at the village and also a stopover at Jacks of Fiji store in Sigatoka.

Note: This tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility. Ladies are requested to wear knee length clothing and hats are to be taken off before entering the village.

  4. School tour at Nokonoko District School, local school for school activity
